The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified firms for the development of a comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan.

RMWB aims to reduce and eliminate the adverse impacts of solid waste materials on residents’ health, the environment and to support economic development and superior quality of life. RMWB has identified 3 Phases to achieve this goal. 

Phase 1 (Study) has been completed and the deliverable i.e., the “RMWB Management System Assessment and Opportunity” report is available for reference. This RFP is for Phase 2 for Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP) Development.
