The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) is seeking to engage an experienced and qualified consulting firm to oversee and carry out the construction administration services during the construction phase of the sewage lagoon and outfall structure in Janvier, AB.

As the construction contractor will be working on different fronts, it is required full-time inspection services 10 hours a day, 6 days a week for the duration of the project.  The proponent would propose a dedicated inspector when the geosynthetic liner is being installed and split the 10 hours a day with the other inspector to simultaneously cover all the tasks being performed. In addition, the proponent will be required to provide three (3) more weeks of pre-construction services and quantify the total hours and fees for the post-construction services within the proposal.

The proponent is required to review the IFC drawings, special provisions, and specifications in order to accept responsibility for the inspection as per design and troubleshooting during construction as well as to sign off and stamp the as-build drawings once they are complete.  A statement accepting this responsibility is required within the proposal.
