The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo would like to formally select and identify an HPE preferred vendor partner. This partner will be the identified vendor that can provide value add services such as planning, costing, etc. to the RMWB, also known as pre sales assistance. The vendor partner will have no guarantee of being awarded any RMWB purchases under this agreement. All acquisitions with an estimated value of over $75,000 may still be bid competitively (RFQ/RFP/RFT) following RMWB procurement procedures. Anything below the $75,0000 threshold may be awarded directly to the vendor partner as per our discretion. The % discount proposed in the accepted proposal or better rates must be applied to the manufacturer’s retail price in such a scenario. The benefit to the selected partner will be in the form of potentially preferred manufacturer pricing from HPE, the benefit to the RMWB is one contact for questions, solution planning, etc. The partnership will be for HPE products only, this consists of Server and Storage infrastructure. |
