NOI File # 2020-325 Automatic Passenger Counters (APC) System Implementation
 

Notice is hereby given by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) of its intent to negotiate directly with Urban Transportation Associates (UTA), Inc. to enter into a contract for the above project.

The RMWB has chosen not to call for bids or proposal on the referenced file for the following reasons:

  • UTA owns an APC system suitable to meet the needs of the Municipality.
  • Contracting directly with UTA will result in cost savings for the Municipality.

Scope of work: 

Implement Automatic Passenger Counters (APC) System for the Transit Services branch of the Municipality.

The intent is to have UTA supply, deliver all hardware and software and manage and coordinate all work required to implement the APC system and provide necessary training for the operators.
