Anzac Forcemain Upgrades - Construction
 Work covered by the Contract Documents takes place in the Hamlet of Anzac, consisted of the construction of a new 300mm dia. HPDE forcemain through open cut and slip-in to the existing 450mm HPDE forcemain. From tie-in in front of the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant off Highway 881 to Anzac Lagoon, approximately 5.7 km in length. The work may include, but is not necessarily limited to:
1. Mobilization.
2. Implementation and management of temporary traffic and access routes, and temporary facilities.
3. Manage and implement public notification during pre-construction and as required during construction.
4. Environmental Procedures, including but not limited to waste disposal, temporary drainage, site clearing, wetland and vegetation protection, pollution control, erosion and sediment control, work adjacent to waterways, regulatory approval requirements (including procedures to address disturbance to historical artifacts, if discovered), etc.
5. Preparation and implementation of an Environmental Construction Operations (ECO) Plan for review and approval by RMWB that addresses spill management, hazardous materials handling, work near wetlands and temporary and permanent erosion and sediment controls.
6. Work that may be incurred while completing the contract scope:
.1 Locate and expose third party utilities (power, gas, communications, etc.) and protect third party utilities during construction. Coordinate with owners of third-party utilities.
.2 Site preparation including clearing of existing forcemain alignment right of way, placement of temporary erosion and sediment controls.
.3 Installation of new sanitary forcemain related works including survey, excavation and backfilling, materials testing, tie-in to existing pipes, complete any associated utility permit(s) and notify the utility owner,
inlet manhole installation, remove and dispose of existing sanitary pipe, gate valves, and air release valves upgrades.
.4 Restoration of all disturbed areas
.5 Forcemain upgrades to convey flows from existing liftstation LSA1 to Lagoon, including new slip-in forcemain

.6 Forcemain connections and tie-ins at air release valves, bends and valves locations.
.7 Testing and commissioning of existing 350mm dia. forcemain from Liftstation LSA1 to new 300mm dia. forcemain tie-in.
7. Manage and implement Public Notification during Pre-Construction and Construction phases, or as required by Municipality.
8. Demobilization.
