RMWB requires the pre-design, design and construction administration (optional) phases for the Raw Water Pond in Conklin. The pre-design phase includes the analysis of all the aspects related to potential design and construction of the facility, such as geotechnical work, regulatory compliance in terms of permits and approvals, land acquisition if required and the estimated sizing for the conceptual design (as explained below). The detailed design phase is to be initiated by the project manager until all the pre-design aspects have been considered, analyzed and completed so there will be no interruption in proceeding to final design to undertake construction of the project. Construction administration is dependent on budget approval, and the RM reserves the right to select any consulting company for construction administration.
